I’m no longer providing marketing automation services. Instead, I work at guuru.com, where we offer a cool community platform for brands to include their passionate customers directly on their online store or website.

It’s all about sharing passion. We all have a passion, and we love to talk about it. In return, if we need advice, we like talking to people with experience in the topic and the products.

That’s why we have developed a platform where shoppers can connect in real-time with passionate customers from the brand community to get authentic live advice.

Our AI-based SmartRouting connects the right people together.

Why is this important? It enables brands to create emotional brand moments in the online store.

Because people don’t buy products. They buy stories and emotions! (Harvard Business Review)

About

Bike racing has come to me by coincidence. I had never planned to become a cyclist. When I coincidently got into it, I was already at an age when athletes typically retire. I don’t care too much about conventional paths and therefore gave it a try – it was the curiosity „How far can I go“ that drove me. For a couple of years I dedicated my focus to road racing. I eventually qualified for the world championships in Florence and the European championships in Bretagne, France. During this time, I had great, bad and very bad experiences. All of them tought me important lessons.

I still race occasionally and took the silver medal in the world championships Gran Fondo category in 2023. And I discovered the beauty of bike packing. Travelling with minimal luggage through countries is the ultimate feeling of freedom and awareness. Getting to meet people along the journey enriches the experience.
The „How far can I go“ question still keeps being my companion. I am curious by nature and keen to learn new skills. What thrives me is constant improvement. I dislike stagnation.

Another activity I love is weight lifting: I am a strong believer that solid muscle strength is the best bet for  health and longevity.

Recently I took up screen printing. I’m a big fan of this wonderful technique. I took the class at siebundbrot.ch and have started to create my own prints. Still a lot to learn! A newer activity is hip-hop dance. I love the music, and I love the moves. I’m not yet great at it; my muscle tension is far too tight, I still need to learn to soften it. But I have a great teacher in the brilliant Shari, and I just enjoy the work.
